How to block twitch advertisements with Ublock Origin

Prerequisite: Have Ublock Origin

1. Go to your extensions and click on the three dots next to Ublock Origin

2. Select “Manage Extension”

3. Select “Extension Options”

4. Under “Settings”, select “I am an advanced user”

5. Select the cog icon next to “I am an advanced user”. A new page will open up.

6. At the bottom of the new page, locate “userResourcesLocation”. This will be set to “unset”. Delete “unset” and paste in “https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions/master/video-swap-new/video-swap-new-ublock-origin.js”

7. It will look something like this: “userResourcesLocation https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions/master/video-swap-new/video-swap-new-ublock-origin.js”

8. Select “Apply changes” in the top left.

9. Go back to the Ublock dashboard and select “My Filters” in the top panel.

10. In line 1, paste “twitch.tv##+js(twitch-videoad)”

11. Select “Apply changes”

12. Close and reopen your browser.

13. You will now have no Twitch advertisements
